Hand-picked videos to help broaden your exposure to information about your Path To Health.
The most important factor in finding your Path To Health is setting the right attitude of mind. To help broaden your exposure to information that may help you recognize your significant role in keeping your body healthy and recovering your health (once it’s lost), I have gathered some videos for you to watch. Some of these videos take difficult concepts and make them easier to understand and implement in your life. Whatever the case may be, above each video I will briefly describe why I find the video to be valuable.
In Good Health,
Dr. Richard Robles
One of the most important things I teach in my seminars is this: ‘We are very well made.’ Our bodies are so well designed that they communicate with us through symptoms when something isn’t right, and they have a remarkable ability to heal — even from near-death situations — not just because of medication or surgery, but because of how we’re built. In this video, Dr. Lissa Rankin shares the scientific evidence for the body’s ability to heal itself.
I was first introduced to the work of Japanese doctor and researcher Masaru Emoto in the late 1990s, and it completely changed the way I think about positive mental attitude, negativity, prayer, and meditation. This video is a short clip from the film What the Bleep, and it’s a great, brief introduction to his research on water crystals.
Dr. Emoto’s research on the power of positivity has opened a lot of eyes. A colleague of mine shared this video with me, and I have a feeling you’ll see why once you watch it.
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks — but that’s not true for us. We can learn new tricks, talents, habits, and skills at any age. To do that well, though, the brain needs a steady, consistent supply of glucose and oxygen. Once it has that fuel, it can be stimulated to build new skills and develop neuroplasticity along the pathways that coordinate them.
This young man makes a compelling argument about the connection between diet and health outcomes. His point is simple: we are what we eat. If we’re nourishing our bodies with animals and plants that were raised in conditions that made them unhealthy, what kind of health can we really expect in return? As he puts it, ‘we can either pay the farmer or the hospital. It is our choice.’
Increased intestinal permeability, or leaky gut syndrome, has been talked about in the natural health world for a long time. This video explains how chronic intestinal irritation triggers an inflammatory cascade that gradually breaks down your health. It focuses on microbial irritation (bacterial, viral, etc.), but that same inflammatory response happens when the immune system reacts to certain foods — which is exactly why following the dietary guidelines in The Path To Health and getting proper food sensitivity testing matters so much. Eating probiotic-rich foods consistently, especially raw, fermented foods, also helps keep the intestinal microbial environment in balance.
